Dorthy "Boots" Louise Curtis

Dorthy “Boots” Louise Curtis of Greenfield passed away peacefully on November 25, 2021 at the age of 87.

She was born January 25, 1934 in Narvel, Kentucky to the late Colonel and Alice Marcum.

She enjoyed traveling and was able to visit Germany three times. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers.  But most of all she loved her family. Her boys were her world.

Boots is survived by her sons Monty Curtis, Scott Curtis (Lisa), and Tony Curtis (Melissa); grandchildren Paige, Andy, Cole, and Cameron; great-grandchild Amr; siblings Ken Marcum, Paul Neal (Barb), Betty Spangler (Benny), and Kathy Ferge (Dean); sister-in-law Carole Marcum; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband Vermont Curtis; parents Colonel Marcum and Alice Neal; and siblings Raymond Marcum, Lee Marcum, Rickey Neal, Donnie Neal, Darlene Neal, and Jerry Neal.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Tuesday, January 25 from 5-8 PM at Springhurst Club House, 628 N. Meridian Rd, Greenfield, IN.
