Dorretta Marie Donaldson

Dorretta Marie Anderson Donaldson, age 80 of Indianapolis passed away on May 28, 2017. She was born December 27, 1936 in Miami, Florida to James Otis and Lillian Dorretta Beaver Anderson.

She moved to Indianapolis as a child and attended Ben Davis High School. While she held several different jobs throughout her life, her most important job was being a wife and a mother, which she loved.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald Edward Donaldson, her son, Jason Martin Donaldson, her sister, Nancy and brother, Joe.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, James Max Donaldson, John Michael Donaldson, Jeffrey Mark (Regina Ball) Donaldson, Joseph Matthew (Peggy) Donaldson, Donna Maria Theresa West, Dianna Elizabeth Dorretta Davis, Jerome Maurice Donaldson and Deborah Alicia (Kevin) Biven, her grandchildren, Donald Mark Donaldson, Amanda Ball, Jeffrey Donaldson, Brittany Donaldson, Whitney Donaldson, Lyndsey Donaldson, Christopher West, Justin West, Jazmine Armstead, Chelzie Davis, Zsavon Davis, Derrick Donaldson, Dustin Donaldson, Danielle Donaldson and Roman Donaldson and great-grandchildren, Mikey, Joe Joe, Mikya, Kailani, Tyson, A. J., Addison, Arhianna, McKenzie, Jye, Jordan, Jyce, Ja'Da, Martez, Promiz, Cherish and Charity.
