Dorothy Lee Riedlinger, age 92 of Indianapolis passed away peacefully on the morning of Thursday, February 1, 2024.
Dorothy was born on September 12, 1931 in Madison, Indiana, the only child of James O. and Kathryn B. (Chandler-Rogers) Rowlette.
She is survived by one son: David (wife Linda) Riedlinger of Greenwood, Indiana and one special granddaughter: Amber Reidlinger of Carmel, Indiana.
Dorothy grew up and attended high school in Madison, Indiana.
After high school she stayed in Madison for sometime, before moving to Indianapolis where she got a job at the telephone company. She worked at Indiana Bell her entire career for 35 years before retiring.
Throughout her life she enjoyed many things including traveling, swimming, being outdoors, doing yard work and spending time in her flower garden.
She was strong willed, independent, and giving. She was a kindhearted woman who loved her small family.
She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
