Dorothy Lorene Mangrum

Dorothy Lorene Mangrum 75 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away February 12, 2023. She was born April 21, 1947, in Prentiss, Kentucky to the late Mayfield and Vonnie (Baize) House. Dorothy worked on the Assembly Line at Jenn-Aire for more than 20 years retiring in 1994. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Dorothy is survived by her children, Terry (Lori) Mangrum, Matt (Bev) Mangrum, Mark (Kiah) Mangrum, her grandchildren, Terry Lee, Matthew Colton, Rachel, Courtney, Dorothy Dianne “DeeDee”, Krista, Matthew Scott, Kylee, and her great granddaughter, Everlee, and a host of extended family and friends. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald R. “Duck” Mangrum, her granddaughter, Tiffany Mangrum, her great grandson, Walker Jones, and her brothers, James House, and Col. Edwin House. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, 11:00am-2:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with the Funeral Service there at 2:00pm. Dorothy will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, Indiana. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.
