Dorothy Jean Cutteridge, 82, of Greenfield, passed away September 26th, 2023. She was born in Henderson, Kentucky to parents Clarence Homer and Virgie Mae (Green) Morris.
Dorothy grew up in Kentucky, graduated from Henderson High School, and later moved to the Indianapolis area.
On September 4th, 1959, she married the love of her life, Thomas R. Cutteridge. They shared more than 50 wonderful years together. Thomas passed away in 2014.
Dorothy worked as a clerk for Indiana Heart Physicians for many years before retiring.
She was an active, valued member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
She was a sweet, lovely lady, with a great sense of style. Dorothy loved to shop and put her best face forward. She enjoyed traveling, namely to Myrtle Beach and Gatlinburg, and sewed and crocheted in her free time. Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Dorothy is survived by her son Dennis Cutteridge; son in law Rodney Williams; grandsons Jeremy Williams and Justin (Amy) Williams; great-grandchildren Maverick, Gage, Marleigh, Presleigh, and Brody; siblings Donnie (Gill) Morris and Marilyn Morris; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Thomas; her daughter Julianne Willaims; and sisters Charlene Kimble, and Ramona Tester.
Visitation for Dorothy will be 10am to 12pm on Saturday, September 30th at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East. Her funeral will begin at 12pm. She will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
