Dorothea Evelyn Lloyd

Dorothea Evelyn Lloyd, 96, Indianapolis, went home to be with her Lord December 22, 2022. She was born in Camden, NJ to Franklin and K. Mildred (Stevens) Ehmann. Dottie was a teacher and enjoyed needle point, gardening, flowers, birds, and lots of color. As her friends say “she made a mean meatloaf and green bean casserole!” Dottie was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, Katherine Lloyd, husband, Russell K. Lloyd, daughter, Janet Nancy Lloyd, and infant brother. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Barbara Lloyd, and nieces, Margie Ruesswick and Lisa Lloyd. Memorial contributions may be made to Noble Inc., Attn: Development 7701 E. 21st Street Indianapolis, IN 46219. Funeral services will be held Thursday January 5th at 2:30pm at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, (Good Shepherd Chapel), 9700 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis, IN.
