Doris Mae Mize

Doris Mae Mize, 86 of Indianapolis, passed peacefully on June 14, 2018. She was born on September 9, 1931 in Oaktown, Indiana to the late George and Lois Chambers.

She loved flowers, gardening, and sewing. However, her true passion was spending time with her family.

Doris was preceded in passing by her loving husband of 65 years, Johnny Mize; and her sons, Dale and Rodney Mize.

She is survived by her daughter, Stella (Perry) Baugh; and sons, David (Judy), Ronald, and Jeffery (Kristy) Mize.  She had 12 grand children, many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Speedway, 2950 N. High School Rd., with the service immediately following at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memorial Gardens.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
