Doris Kamm
Born in Perham, MN to the parents of Ernest and Mabel Flatau, passed away April 22, 2021. She was 94 years old.
Doris was employed for several years as a receptionist with Smith-Bridenstine Opticians. She loved traveling, gardening, planting flowers, and making special flower arrangements for the special people in her life. Doris was an avid Bridge player and belonged to several groups. She loved to cheer on the Indianapolis Colts, especially when Andrew Luck was the Quarterback.
Doris was very strong in her Christian Faith. She enjoyed attending church services at Castleton United Methodist Church.
Doris was preceded in death by her loving Husband Max Kamm, her parents, Brothers; Ernest, Harry, Benjamin, Marvin, and Raymond, Sisters; Pearl and Hazel.
Survivors include; daughter, Brenda Raymer; son, Darryl Kamm; grandsons, Jeremy Raymer (Rachael) and Justin Kamm (Tara); and two great grandchildren; sisters, Burnell Babcock (Chuck) and Lucille Long; along with many nieces and nephews; and the family cat Jazzy-Kitty.
Per the wishes of Doris, there will be no funeral services. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date to honor her. A special thank you to her Physician of many years Gary Ayers, MD and the staff at St. Vincent Hospice for their care.
