Doris Ann "Dodie" Crouch

Doris Ann “Dodie” Crouch, 86 of Indianapolis passed away on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022.

Doris was born on July 28th, 1936 in Indianapolis and was the daughter of David W. Haley and Evelyn (Stonebraker) Haley. She grew up on the east side of Indianapolis and graduated from Warren Central High School in 1954 and attended Indiana Business College for 1 year. Doris worked as a research assistant for the national headquarters of the American Legion in Indianapolis for 25 years.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Jennifer Patrick and son Robert Crouch Jr, Alexis Crouch, grandsons Dakota Houston and Dylan Kimbrell, and great-grandchildren Savannah, Scarlett, Luke, Bailey and Bella. Doris was preceded in death by her parents and daughters Elizabeth Anne Leary and Kimberly Susan Houston.

A memorial gathering will be held at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East on Thursday, November 3rd from 12PM to 2PM with a memorial service at 2PM. She will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery following the service. Memorial contributions in Doris’s name can be made to the Salvation Army and the American Legion Auxiliary.
