Dorinda Kay Mann

June 26, 1961 — July 26, 2020

Dorinda Kay Mann, 59, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away suddenly on July 26, 2020. She was born June 26, 1961 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Jack Lee and Gloria Patricia Callahan; she was one of three children.

Dorinda was a lifetime Indianapolis resident and proud Ben Davis High School Class of 1980 graduate. She entered the workforce immediately after high school, most recently working for Campbell’s Soup and Snacks (formerly Snyder-Lance) as a dedicated member of their office personnel. She was a loving, easy-going woman who loved to laugh; those who were lucky enough to meet her know just how giggly she could be. She spent every Saturday with her mother, Gloria, going to casinos; memories sure to be cherished. She was the type of woman who truly never met a stranger and could make friends anywhere.  She was so selfless and bubbly, it was easy for all to be drawn to her beautiful personality. Her passing leaves an empty space in the hearts of those who love her; she was one of a kind and will be incredibly missed.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jack Callahan (March 2020); sister-in-law, Mary Callahan. Surviving to cherish her memory are mother, Gloria Callahan; brother, Robert Callahan; sister, Rhonda (Ken) Day; two nephews, Robert and Lee Callahan; 4 great nieces and nephews; dear friends, Nick and Mary Vincent; as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
