Las Vegas, NV – Donna Marie Franz, 69, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away on January 14, 2021. She was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana to Henry and Ann Franz and was the second child of six.

Donna attended Lady Wood High School and continued her education at Butler University. Donna received a Master of Business Administration in 1995 from the University of Denver. She had a bright career in the directory publishing business with Indiana Bell, Ameritech, SBC, AT&T, & Qwest from 1975 – 2002. She started in Sales and worked her way up to General Manager of National Sales and Operation. Following this, she worked as an Executive Placement Consultant with HRG and was most recently President of Franz & Associates.

Donna had a passion for fine dining, entertaining, and loved cooking for her guests. In her younger years she obtained her pilots license to enjoy the freedom of flight as a hobby. She also developed a love for the game of Bridge, which she played multiple times per week, for hours on end with her wonderful friends. She was a devout Catholic who always valued and cherished time spent with family.

Donna had the ability to make everyone she came in contact with feel like the most important person in the world. Her loving and caring personality always brought smiles to those around her. She will forever be missed by those who had the honor of having her in their life.

She leaves behind four brothers, Steve (Kay), Tom (Lynn), John (Cindy), and Doug Franz. She was preceded in death by her parents; Henry and Ann; and her brother Dave Franz. She was loved by her many nieces and nephews and their respective families: Nicole Fry, Natalie Loomis, Isaac Franz, Scott Franz, Nicholas Franz, Joseph Franz, Dyann Espinosa, Carylin Perry, Alexandra Schmidt, Heidi Franz, Hannah Franz, Zachary Ossip, Sydney Franz.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 beginning at 12 p.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Parish, 7200 Sarto Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240.  Interment will follow Mass at Calvary Cemetery, 435 West Troy Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46225.
