Donna K. Evans

Donna Kay Evans, age 63 of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018. She was born to the late Arol “Bud” Burgess and Wilma Burgess (currently of Indianapolis) on November 27, 1954.

Donna worked at ALLEGION/VON DUPRIN for over 17 years, and then she retired in 2016.

Donna was active with her family serving as Matriarch, counselor, babysitter, and planner. She enjoyed having everyone together. Her two youngest grandchildren kept her busy as she watched them both several days a week. She had a penchant for old TV shows and playing cards.

Donna is survived by, her children: Jeff (Tracy) Thatcher, Jennifer (Aragon) Gould, Kevin (Mendy) Darks, Kyle Darks as well as fourteen grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Additionally she has four brothers: Mike (Beth) Burgess, Richard (Kathryn) Harris, Robby Harris, Kenny (Kim) Mangrum and sisters Linda (Dean) Whiteman, and Kim Brattian. She was preceded in death by her sister Debra J. Riddle.

The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last days.  We are so grateful for the tender care you showed our dear loved one.

For those who have known Donna and got to share in her journey with us, visitation will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday, August 29 at Flanner Buchanan, 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN. A Funeral Service will begin at 7 PM at the funeral home.
