Donna Jo Rogers

Donna Jo Rogers, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018.

She was born on December 17, 1938 in Indianapolis IN to the late Cleo Sampson and Nina F. (Hopkins) Muse.  Donna was a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School and worked for many years for the federal government in the Appeals Office, retiring in 2002.  She enjoyed sewing, cross-stitch and quilting.  Donna spent many hours reading mystery novels, coloring, doing puzzles and playing cards and board games.

She loved her family dearly and she will be greatly missed by those that survive; husband of 50 years, Garland Rogers; children, Jackie (Kevin) Waggoner, Andra (Steven) Mullis and Damon (Tracie) Rogers; 8 grandchildren, Rachel, Brandon, Matthew (Peyton) Bobbi Jo, Joanna, Jeremy, Shelbi and Sara; 4 great-grandchildren, Ariel, Sebastian, CJ and Zeke.  Donna is also survived by her siblings, Chuck (Barbara) Sampson, Barbara (Joe) Rogers and Larry Muse.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, David Sampson.

Visitation for Donna will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 11am – 1pm at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park, with funeral services immediately following.
