Donna Combs

February 14, 1956 — February 15, 2017

Age 61, of Indianapolis, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee on February 14, 1956 to Billy Ray Andrews and Verdie Higgins. Donna was a graduate of George Washington High School, and later became a Registered Radiologic Technologist who worked at Community Hospital. In her time as a X-Ray Tech, her passion was with her geriatric patients. She loved them and they loved her.

Donna’s joy was for her sons, Josh and Jason; as well as her grandchildren, Jackson, Cameron, Amelia, and Josie, who she thought hung the stars and moon. There isn't anything she would not do for her grandchildren. She attended every sporting event her sons were in, and she continued this display of her love with her grandchildren. She lived for her family and for spending time with them. Donna was a professed Christian who loved "almost" all animals, especially her Cat Bob, and spoiled every animal that arrived at her house. Her favorite music was country, especially Kenny Chesney, but nothing could be compared to her love for her family, She loved big and was loved big in return.

She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Ray Andrews; grandparents, Loyd and Gracie Andrews, and Carson and Lola Carver.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her Loving Husband, Steve Combs; mother, Verdie Higgins, sons, Joshua (Tiara) Combs, Jason (Jamie) Combs; sister, Kim (Tom) Burkart; grandchildren, Jackson, Cameron, Amelia and Josie; and nieces; Maya and Lilli Burkart.

A visitation will be held from 4pm-8pm on Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Ave, Indianapolis, IN. 46241.
