Donna Belle Shafer

Donna Belle (Shane) Shafer, 91 of Greenwood, IN passed away on July 2, 2020. She was born June 12, 1929 in Flora, Carroll County, Indiana to the late Ellis B. and Rosetta (Dickenson) Shane. Donna was a member of the Church of Christ in West Newton, IN. She was a loving, kind woman who had a tremendous love and devoted much of her time to her family. Donna Belle is survived by her children, Linda (Dorel) Graves, William H. “Bill” (Shirley) Shafer, Jr., Jane Ann (Greg) Hopkins, Cynthia Lou Hill, Robert Dale (Rhonda) Shafer, 29 grandchildren, 61, plus 2 on the way great grandchildren, 2 plus 1 on the way great-great grandchildren and her sister, Mary Alice Kem. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, William H. “Bill” Shafer, Sr., her son-in-law, Tom Hill, her sister, Nina Henderson and her brothers, Ernest and Donald Shane. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2020 1 PM at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with visitation there from 10 AM-1PM.
