Donald Robert Ullstam

Donald Ullstam, age 82, of Indianapolis, passed away May 24, 2021 in Carmel, IN.  He was born in Hammond, IN on July 22, 1938 the son of the late, Robert and Beverly (Sterling) Ullstam.  He graduated from Hammond High School in 1956 and went on to Indiana University, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics.  It was while he was at I.U., that Don met his future wife, Linda (Metz) Ullstam (1940-2018).

Don began his career at Eli Lilly in 1963 and remained there until his retirement from Production Planning, in 1993.

He was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and Second Presbyterian Church.  Don enjoyed playing in the Eli Lilly Bridge League, I.U. Sports, and trips to Florida with his wife, Linda.

Don will be lovingly missed by his son, Donald Jr.; daughter, Amy Beto; and grandchildren: Shad Phelps and Joe Beto.

Family and friends may call from 4pm until 8pm on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan-Broad Ripple, 1305 E. Broad Ripple Ave., Indpls.  Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the funeral center.  Burial will follow services in Crown Hill Cemetery.
