Donald R. Jones, age 89 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Wednesday morning, March 27, 2024.
Don was born on October 22, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis.
He married Myrna Jones. She preceded him in death on March 24, 2013.
He is survived by two daughters: Lisa (husband Bill) Turner and Julie (husband Mark) Shilling.
Four grandchildren: Jenni (husband Jeremy) Roe, Andrew (wife Lisa) Bauermeister, Elizabeth Shilling, and Derek (wife Angie) Shilling.
As well as eight great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 12:00 Noon - 2:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan - Memorial Park, located at 9350 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229.
His funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. Andy Johnston, long time friend and pastor of Don will officiate.
Following the service, burial will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery where Don will be laid to rest with his wife Myrna.
