Donald Gene Spilker
73, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on December 1, 2021. Donald was born on December 4, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Dorothy Weaver and Lester Spilker. He was a retired Locomotive Engineer. He was a graduate of the University of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Joyce Spilker, Lester “Butch” Spilker, Dixie Wilson and his parents. He is survived by his spouse of forty years, Diane Spilker; children, Scott Spilker, Tiffani Spilker, Ashley (Matthew) Breedlove and Alyssa (Daniel) Muhlhauser; grandchildren, Neil Ballinger, Zack Staten, Wesley Staten, Ethan Breedlove, Malia Breedlove and Ezra Muhlhauser; several great-grandchildren; twin sister, Donna Hendren and brother, Tommy Spilker. Visitation will be Friday from 2 pm to 3 pm with a memorial service at 3 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
