Donald Eugene Cunningham, Sr

Donald Eugene Cunningham Sr, 79, of Indianapolis passed away December 15, 2018.

Donald was born June 5, 1939 in Bristol, VA.  He married Patsy and became part of the Nelson family from Bristol, Tennessee.

He poured concrete for over 50 years and later worked at WalMart. He was an avid golfer playing at many country clubs and was a previous winner of the Coca Cola tournament. He enjoyed drinking coffee with friends at local diners.

Donald was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Patsy JoAnn Cunningham in 2016.

Donald is survived by his sons, Donny, Mike and Chris all of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Joey, Michael T., Jeff, Brett, Carrie, Jason, Ryan, Aaron, Jamie and Courtney Cunningham and Jacki Adkins; great-grandchildren Kristinia, Tyler, Racheal, Mackenzie, Aiden, Bailey, Avery, Riley, Matthew, Jackson, Ethan, Sydney, Brycen, Kaiden, Mason, Jamison, and little Clair; daughters-in law, Cathy Cunningham and Mary Weddle; and his precious dog Peanut.

Funeral Services will be held at 6 PM, Thursday, December 20 at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East,10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN with Visitation 4 PM until the time of service. He will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery next to his wife Patsy.
