Donald E. Toney

Donald E. Toney, 80, of Indianapolis joined his wife in eternal rest June 14, 2018.

Donald was born June 5, 1938 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Millie Mae Toney and step-father Samuel Moore Klipsch.

He graduated from Arsenal Tech High School in 1956 and then served his country in the U.S. Navy until 1959. He retired as the Parts Manager at the Overhead Door Company of Indianapolis, Inc. He married the love of his life Retha in 1965 and their love story continued until the time of her death in 2010.  Their relationship was the type any couple would envy, and he missed her terribly.

He leaves behind his brother Fred (Judy) Klipsch; nephews Mike (Paula) Klipsch and Steve (Lisa) Klipsch; great nephews Leo, Zach, Matt and Ryan Klipsch, and great niece Erin Klipsch.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Retha and his parents.

Private memorial services were held by the family on Saturday, June 16 at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington, Indianapolis.  He is laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis.
