Don H. Seal

Don H. Seal, 86, Carmel, died Friday, September 29, 2017 following a stroke. He leaves his beloved wife, Mary (Fox) Seal, of almost 50 years; his daughter, Jenifer Seal Cramer, and her husband, David, and their three children: Helena, William, and Soren; his daughter, Dr. Bonny Seal, and her husband Jeff Jordan and their two children: Benjamin and Kurt; his sister, Diane; and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his son, William Vincent Seal.

Born and raised in Indianapolis, and a graduate in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, Mr. Seal worked for almost 30 years with AT&T (Indiana Bell) as an Engineering Manager. During the Korean War, he served as a member of the US Air Force for four years. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel church in Carmel and served for many years as a Minister of Welcome and an Usher.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 5, 2017, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 14598 Oak Ridge Drive. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive, and also one hour prior to the mass at the church.
