Dixie L. Borgmann

82, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on November 24, 2021 in Avon, Indiana.  Dixie was born on August 4, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Elma and Lytle Roberts.  She was a retired custodian for Wayne Township Schools.  She was a member of the Speedway Moose Lodge.  She was preceded in death by her sons James Shackleford and Marty Corn and her parents.  She is survived by her children, Terry (Dana) Shackleford, Mike Shackleford, Sherry (Rick) Royer, Tammy (Tim) Fields, Chuck (Amanda) Corn and Tim (Kassondra) Corn and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Service will be Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 1 pm with visitation from noon at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
