Dianna King, 90, passed away on February 7, 2019 in Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle King in 2016.
Dianna was born April 5, 1928 in Logansville, Ohio to Emery & Bessie Arthur. She grew up with her brother George and sisters Mary Catherine and Barbara who have all preceded her in death.
She and Merle were married over 61 years and lived all over the country for his position with the Government and traveled extensively. They raised two daughters, Pamela (John) Ramsbottom and Cynthia Wright. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, bowling, square dancing, puzzles and spending time with her four grandchildren, Brian Cox of Pittsburgh, PA; Christine (Chris Seidensticker) Wright, Jennifer (Michael) Svrcek, and Glenn Lucas, four great-grandchildren, all of Indianapolis and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Hoosier Village for their care and compassion during her years there.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hoosier Village Chapel, 5600 W. 96th St., Indianapolis, IN with funeral service to follow. Entombment will be at Washington Park North Cemetery.
