Diana Sue Russell

Diana Sue Russell, 70, of Wanamaker, passed away June 20th, 2022. She was born in Indianapolis, August 28th, 1951, to parents Harvey and Ada (Byers) McKnight.

After graduating high school, Diana met the love of her life, Charles. They shared 49 wonderful years together. Charles passed away in 2018.

She was a very hard worker, often working more than one job. She was an embroiderer at Logo 7 for many years.

Diana was a loving, modest woman. In her younger years, she was an excellent seamstress. She enjoyed lounging by the pool and loved her slot machines at the casino. Diana had a huge heart, and loved her family dearly.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Diana is survived by her sons Tim (Sheri) Russell, and Brian (Nikki) Russell; grandchildren Cody Russell and Grace Shrum; her sister Barbara (Roger) Tapy; and her two nephews Mike and Dave.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles, and her parents.

Visitation for Diana will be Thursday June 23rd from 4-8pm, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East. Her funeral service will be Friday June 24th at 10am. She will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
