Diana Rose Stewart

Diana Rose Stewart, 66, of Greenwood, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018.

She was born on August 29, 1951 in Greencastle, IN to the late Herman G. and Rose Mary (Umbarger) Asher.  Diana was a 1970 graduate of New Palestine High School and was proud to maintain many friendships with former classmates.  She enjoyed flower gardening, traveling to visit lighthouses and spending time outdoors.  However, her greatest passion in life was caring for her family.

Diana is survived by her sons, Casey (Tammy) Stewart, Greg (Stacey) Stewart, Jason (Angie) Stewart; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  Diana is also survived by her sister, Karen Petrey; and close friend, Len Spaeth.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Michael Asher and Terry Asher; and sons, Eddie “Butch” Stewart and Shannon Stewart.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 11am – 1pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East with funeral services immediately following at 1pm.  Burial will take place in Washington Park East Cemetery.  Friends are invited to leave online condolences for the family at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
