Diana Lee (Hargis) Beaty

63, of Indianapolis, passed away July 7, 2017. Diana was born in Indianapolis to the late William O. and Agnes M. (Newell) Hargis. She graduated from Lawrence Central High School in 1972. Diana, a member of Harvest Church, was a very kind and loving woman. She enjoyed teaching Children’s Sunday School and adored her family. She absolutely loved spending time with them, whether it be hosting and cooking for family gatherings, attending church together or shopping and twinning with her twin sister, Donna. Diana also enjoyed reading in her spare time.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Agnes and one sister, Ellen L. Boer. Diana will be lovingly missed by her husband of 45 years, William E. Beaty; twin sister, Donna L. Carey; sons, Scott W. Beaty and Stephen L. Beaty; four grandchildren; and her many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Friends may call from 4-8pm on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan- Geist, 7855 Cork Road, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Thursday, July 13th at the funeral center. Burial will follow services in Old Oaklandon Cemetery.
