Dewey Jackson Mcclurg

Dewey Jackson McClurg, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 19, 2019.

Dewey was born on November 21, 1928 in Carthage, Indiana to the late Thomas Benjamin and Daisy McClurg. He was a truck driver for most of his life, he was hard working and devoted to his family. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him.

He leaves behind his children, Vicky McClurg, Regina Vester (Charles E.), Vince McClurg (Lori); grandchildren, Jennifer Kleinhelter (James), Matthew Vester, Ragan Wilson (Russell); and great-grandchildren, Brandon, Luke, Pierce, Beau, and Riley. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia McClurg, and son Robert McClurg.

Friends and family are invited to gather from 12:00-2:00pm on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Dewey’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
