Emblem

Denver L. Wells, age 74, passed away August 7, 2024, in Radcliff, Kentucky. Born to the late John and Josie M. Wells, he lived in Indianapolis only recently moving to Kentucky, residing with his sister. He was the loving and faithful brother to the late Leland, the late Dennis, and Mary Ann Kerutis (Michael).

Denver (also known to the family as Dick or Dickie) worked for Maple Hurst Farmers for over 20 years before leaving to work for Federal Express, where he retired in 2019. Dick never met a stranger and was loved by friends and family alike. He was always happy to see you, greeting you with a smile and a positive word.

Denver was a decorated war veteran, receiving the Purple Heart in 1969.

He will be missed by so many, including his many nieces and nephews, and especially his great-nephew, Beau Bradley.

A special Thank You to our wonderful cousin, and Dickie's caregiver Kellie for all your love, support, and dedication during this past year. You are truly a blessing.

Visitation will be held at Flanner Buchanan - Floral Park on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 11am-1pm with funeral services beginning at 1pm. Denver will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery following the services.
