Dennis R. Mccracken

Dennis R. McCracken, 51, Carmel, passed away July 3, 2017. He was born April 24, 1966, in Indianapolis, the son of Robert Dennis and Hilda (Kaltenbach) McCracken. He married Elizabeth “Libby” Morrison on April 16, 1994.

Dennis was a graduate of North Central High School and later attended Ball State University. He was an Account Executive with Plaza Home Mortgage. He enjoyed playing golf, boating, and spending family vacations in Orlando. He was also an avid Chicago Cubs and NASCAR fan.

He is survived by his parents; wife, Elizabeth “Libby” McCracken; two children, Brittany Denise (Andrew) Swan and Austin Robert McCracken; father-in-law, Robert Dale Morrison; brother-in-law, Daniel “Dan” (Jan) Morrison; and his beloved puggle, Roscoe. He was preceded in passing by his mother-in-law, Beverly Kay Gieseke.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2017, at Flanner and Buchanan – Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Road. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, July 9, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Melanoma Research Foundation.
