Denise Mae Rigdon

Denise Mae Rigdon passed away December 17, 2021 peacefully while surrounded by her family. She was born November 21, 1953 to Harold and Irene Iverson. She is survived by her two brothers George and Mark Iverson and her sister Janice Jenkins. She graduated from Greenwood High School and attended Ivy Tech. She was married to Ted Rigdon III for 40 wonderful years. She has two children, Angela and Josh and three grandchildren, Hope, Kasarah and Ty. She loved them all dearly.
Denise had a 40-year career at Xerox which she loved. After retirement she found her passion working at West Newton United Methodist Church as a secretary. She loved her church and church family as her own. Denise enjoyed spending time with her family, walking with her husband Ted, shopping, and lots of travel. No matter what she was doing, Denise brought love and light to everyone around her. She will be missed very much.
Funeral services will be held at West Newton United Methodist Church, 6843 Mendenhall Rd, Indianapolis, IN, 46221 on Wednesday December 22, 2021. Visitation will be from 1-4pm, service to follow at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the church in honor of Denise.
