Denise Lynn Lower

Denise Lynn Lower, 68, born on October 3, 1956, in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025. Denise was a lifelong native of Indianapolis, graduated from Emmerich Manual High School, and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church as well as the Trinity Great Banquet Community.

She leaves behind a vibrant family that will carry forward the values and the love instilled in all of them. Denise dedicated 38 years to her beloved husband, Norman Lower. Together, they created a loving home and raised 3 daughters together. Denise was immensely proud of her family, which includes daughters Wendy (Chris) Bauer of Indianapolis, Mary (Eric) Welling of Bargersville and Trisha Whittaker of Indianapolis. As a grandmother, Denise delighted and enjoyed her eight grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her loving heart. She found joy in being a great-grandmother of two great-grandchildren with a third one due later this summer. Denise's legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, who remember her with love.

Friends and family are welcome to gather for a public visitation on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 8540 E. 16th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46219. The funeral service will follow visitation at 1:30 PM at the church. A private family entombment ceremony will be held at a later date. Any memorial donations in her honor may be made to the American Cancer Society.
