Demetria Renee Sconiers

Demetria Renee Sconiers, better known as “Renee” by her loved ones and friends was born on February 4, 1964 in Chicago, IL, to Lillie Pearl Street and Ned Sconiers. Renee accepted Christ as her personal savior at a young age. She attended Indianapolis Public School System and later went on to complete her education by receiving her High School Diploma.

Renee met and was in relationship with Dexter Smith and was the proud mother of four children, Fredrick Sconiers (Keia), Shalanda Johnson (Edward), Fred Johnson Jr. (Alexis) and Francheska Peck (Matthew), Eight Grandchildren and one on the way. Renee was the sister of Remanda “Doris” Harvey, Nellie Ross, Janice Sconiers, Jennifer “Ann” Sconiers, Nathaniel Sconiers, Chanel “Blanche” Burts, Sherby “Jean” Asava, Michelle Stewart and Lillian “Lil” Gordan. Half siblings Bobby and Beverly Sconiers. She was proceeded in death by half brother Dee Dee Sconiers. Renee had a host of nieces and nephews and friends.

Renee loved watching the firestick, spending time with her grandkids, kids, and siblings, playing with her puppy “Smokey”, listening to music, cooking and enjoying friends and family on the southside.

Renee departed this life on April 26, 2021 at 11:30am at St. Francis Hospital. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Renee is survived by her children and many other family members.
