Delores Therese Patterson

Delores Therese Patterson, 77, of Indianapolis passed away on August 6, 2019.

Delores loved her family most of all. She could best be remembered by her cooking, especially her famous pies, where each crust was made from scratch – or her homemade noodles, which were found strung out along the countertops during the holidays. Delores took care of her family before herself, and she always prioritized them. Delores loved to spoil her grandchildren. She was a selfless wife, mom, grandma, and friend. She will be missed sorely by all the lives she has touched.

Delores is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Billy Joe Patterson Sr.; her children, Billy Joe Patterson Jr. (LeAnn), Debora McCarty (Dale), and Kenneth Patterson (Theresa); her brother, Ralph O’Niell; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Delores is preceded in death by her parents, William and Marcelline O’Niell; and 6 siblings.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 11AM-1PM at Flanner Buchanan – Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Road. A Funeral mass will follow at 1:30PM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 377 N. Warman Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46222. Delores will be laid to rest in Floral Park Cemetery.
