Debra Jo "Debbie" Kemp

Debra Jo “Debbie” Kemp of New Palestine, IN passed away on October 16, 2022, at the age of 65.  Debbie was born in Indianapolis, IN on August 15, 1957, to parents, Cecil A. and Viola (Ingram) Woods.  She graduated from Warren Central High School and worked as an Insurance Underwriter/Claims Specialist for 34 years.  Debbie loved gambling, traveling and spending time with her family- especially her grandchildren.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Viola Woods and sister, Sandra Kay Woods.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 18 years, Mark Kemp, whom she married on March 6, 2004; son, Ryan Rennier (Courtney); step-children: Steve Kemp (Michele), David Kemp (Jamie), Andrew Kemp and Abby Kemp; grandchildren: Landon and Chael Rennier, Joseph Hardin, Grace Kemp, Sophia Kemp, Austin Rees, Kaleb “KJ” Kemp and Mackenzie Kemp; brothers, Kenny Woods (Janet), Gary Woods (Jeanette), and Rusty Woods (Dawn); as well as many other extended family and beloved friends.

Visitation will be held from 3pm until 6pm, Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East (10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis), where funeral services will be held at 10am on Monday, October 24^th.  Entombment will follow Monday’s services in Washington Park East Cemetery.
