Deborah Sue Anderson-Morris

February 22, 1968 — October 11, 2021

Indianapolis, IN

It is with unbelievable sadness that our family must share that our precious Debbie has passed away. She died at Community Hospital East with her daughter, sister and husband by her side.

Debbie fought a long nine month battle with glioblastoma. Debbie grew up on the near east side and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in June of 1986.

Debbie started as an intern at Navel Avionics now Raytheon at the age of 16 and devoted 36 years to the company where life long friendships were made. She was always showered with flowers, cards, lunches and love!

One of Debbie’s greatest joys was taking her two grandchildren to the Indianapolis Speedrome to cheer (and sometimes whammy) the best figure 8 drivers in the world. Debbie was a life-long race fan.

Debbie also enjoyed local wrestling, karaoke and family get togethers. Family was always #1 in her book.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Janet Anderson (Kopp), step son Steven Frost Jr, great niece Gracelynn Johnson, several dear grandparents and many aunts and uncles.

Survivors include her husband Billy Morris; devoted daughter Brandie Garrigus (Ryan); treasured grandchildren Braxton and Georgia Garrigus. Siblings Christy Panchot (Brad); Jason Anderson (Kimberly); Joseph Anderson II (Tina). Debbie was also a favorite aunt to over 20 nieces and nephews.
