Deborah "Debbie" A. Rattigan

Deborah “Debbie” Ann Rattigan, 69, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on February 8, 2022. She was born on August 27, 1952, to the late Eugene and Dorothy Jean Neal Crist in Indianapolis.

After graduating from Southport High School, Debbie went on to work many careers. She received her associates degree from IvyTech and worked for a time as a CNA and later moved into retail management.

Beyond work, she raised her adoring children alongside her husband, Frank, in the Indianapolis area. She also spent many years living in New Jersey and had a deep love for the east coast ocean views. She was known to be “The Funny Grandma” to her three granddaughters and loved introducing them to a variety of her favorite movies and books.

She is survived by her beloved children: Cheri Schroeder (John Grimes), Carly Smith (Nic), Sean Rattigan and Frank Rattigan, Jr.; granddaughters: Taylor Marksberry, Sydney Griffin and Kendall Glorioso; and great-granddaughter, Blake Marksberry.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Francis “Frank” Rattigan; her son, Tim Rattigan; sister, Cindy Crist; and brother, David Crist.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229
