Deborah K. Carver, 61, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 4, 2017. She was born on September 6, 1955 to the late Sherman and Mary (Heaston) Anderson. She is survived by her daughters, Carrie Smith (Andrew), Jennifer Bradley (Maurice), her 7 grand kids, Owen, Luke, Mya, Zoie, Drew, Danica, and Maurice. As well as her two sisters, Vicki Liedell (John) and Patricia Carney, and her brother, Sherman (Shirley) Anderson. Debbie also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, her brother in law, Jerry Carney, her nephew, Jerry Carney Jr., and her two beloved dogs, Vannie and Charlie.
Debbie was a very proud mother and grandmother and loved to spend time with her family. Debbie worked at Below Market by Kittle’s furniture store and was a very successful salesperson. Her work family meant so much to her and she will be greatly missed by all of them. Debbie had the most infectious smile and laugh. She truly lit up a room with her presence. She enjoyed shopping especially at thrift, consignment, and antique stores. She was also a huge animal lover. Debbie had such a passion for life. She left her mark on many hearts and souls. Her legacy will proudly live on through her daughters and grandchildren.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East from 12pm-4pm, with a Celebration of Life at 4pm. Memorial contributions can be made to Humane Society of Indianapolis.
