Deborah Ann Moorman

Deborah Ann Moorman, 64, of Indianapolis, passed away at home on Monday, August 23, 2021, surrounded by her family.  Deborah (Debbie) was born on July 20, 1957 in Indianapolis to the late Eldon L. and Eleanor M. Blume (Niss).

Debbie was a graduate of Lawrence Central High School, class of 1975. Debbie worked many years in the food industry. Some of her personal interests and hobbies included playing games with family and she especially loved word games. Debbie enjoyed watching football and was an avid Colts fan.  Debbie will be remembered by never meeting a stranger and the endless love for her family.

Debbie is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 28 years, Edward H. Moorman; Brother, Bob (Cheryl) Blume; Daughter, Ashley (Deyshawn) Bond; Son, Mathew Moorman; Step-son, Eddie (Kia) Moorman; Step-daughter, Christy (Alan) Swardson; Grandchildren, Miguel, Kameron, Krystofer, Paisha, Reyanna, and Austin; Niece, Nikki Burnett.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 4-8pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East (across from Walmart). Funeral services will take place Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 10am, also at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.  Debbie’s wish was for everyone to come as they are, dressed comfortably.

In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that donations be made to the American Cancer Society – Indiana Chapter at, PO Box 681405 , Indianapolis, IN 46268.
