Deborah Ann Abeshaus, a beloved wife and friend to many, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024 at the age of 71. Born November 28, 1952, Deborah lived a life full of happiness, adventure, and deep love for her family and friends.
Deborah and her husband, Bruce, shared a beautiful love story that began at the hockey rink. Their mutual love for the sport grew into a lifelong partnership filled with laughter, shared experiences, and countless memories.
Deborah was a dedicated caregiver and nurturer who found immense joy in her work at La Petite Academy, where she lovingly cared for countless children. Her kind heart and patient spirit made her a cherished figure in the lives of those she touched.
Deborah was a passionate traveler, always eager to explore new places and create lasting memories with her husband, Bruce. Together they shared countless trips. In addition to her love of travel, Deborah was an avid NASCAR fan, rarely missing a race and enjoying the thrill of the sport.
True lover of life’s simple pleasures, Deborah found joy in shopping, dining out and celebrating the holidays. Her home was always beautifully decorated, and she delighted in bringing the spirit of the seasons to life with festive touches and decorations.
Above all, Deborah will be remembered for her warm smile, her love of life, and the kindness she showed to everyone she met.
Deborah’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, and her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, from 12pm - 2pm at Flanner Buchanan - Washington Park East ( 10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229 ). Funeral services will follow at 2pm.
