Debra (Debbie) Sumner Warrum was born on the west side of Indianapolis on September 19, 1955, to Eileen and Richard Sumner Sr. Debbie went to Ben Davis High School and then had, what she described as, the most rewarding job ever: being a stay-at-home Mom.
She was preceded in death by both her parents and older brother Norman. She leaves behind her Husband Rick, son Michael (Kayla) Warrum, daughter Charity (Bob) Risku, daughter Kathi Warrum, and son Joe Giles. She also leaves grandson Brock Risku, granddaughter Paisley Warrum, and great granddaughter Aubree Landers, as well as her brother Rick (Jackie) Sumner. She also had several nieces, nephews, and close friends she considered family.
She was blessed to be surrounded by close family and friends at the time of her passing, on December 18th. The family requests that a donation in Debbie’s name be made to the animal shelter of your choosing in lieu of flowers. Her celebration of life will be held Tuesday, December 27rd. Visitation will be 11am-3pm with the funeral service beginning at 3pm. All will be held at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd. Indianapolis, Indiana, 46222.
