Debbie Boles

68, of Indianapolis, passed away January 17, 2020. She was born on January 9, 1952 in Indianapolis, as the daughter of Paul and Ruby Sallee.

Debbie spent over 30 years teaching junior high math, loved to work in the yard, enjoyed reading, traveling, and playing games, but above all liked being with her family. She just recently saw giraffes outside her hotel in Disney World with her grandchildren and then went on a cruise with her family. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Rick Boles; son, Stephen Hachey (Shauna); daughter, Sarah Kidwell (Andrew); grandchildren: Bethany and Benjamin Kidwell, Owen and Lucas Hachey; several nieces and nephews; and many cherished friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Judy Sallee.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020, from 6-8pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Nativity Catholic Church, 7225 Southeastern Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46239 at 11am on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. There will be an hour of calling beforehand at 10am, also at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
