David Paul Kowinski, 77, passed away on March 14, 2023, in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on January 5, 1946, to his parents John F. and Martha L. Kowinski in Clinton, IN.
Throughout his life, he focused on the progression of his career. David proudly served as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserve. From 1975-1982, he was employed at American Fletcher National Bank as the Vice President of International Loans. He then progressed to Kite Construction Co. until 1985 as the Treasurer. In his next venture, he took on the task of becoming the business owner of Premium Bindery from 1987-1994. His final occupation prior to retirement in 2012 was at Awazel – Arabian Waterproofing Ind.
David was preceded in death by his wife Nancy A. Kowinski, parents John F. and Martha L. Kowinski, and brother and sister-in-law Michael W. and Rosy Kowinski.
He is survived by his son Todd S. Kowinski (Brenda), daughter Kathryn J. Kowinski (Mario Giulliani), grandson Trae Rott, and great-niece MaKenzie Glass.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd. W. Dr., Indianapolis, IN 46228. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 am on Monday, April 3, 2023, at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th St., Indianapolis, IN 46224. Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at Walnut Grove Cemetery, 1500 N. Main St., Clinton, IN, 47842.
