David Dana Lawrence

David Dana Lawrence, 59, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away March 25, 2022 in Panama City Beach, Florida. He was born on July 27, 1962 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Robert Vernon and Merle Lawley Lawrence.

After high school, David went on to work in several careers. He graduated from Jefferson State and Shelton State colleges.  He was in funeral business before a career change, working in mining. Over the past seven years, he enjoyed working at Guitar Center in Brownsburg.

He is survived by his fiancé, Ider M. Owens; son, David Blake Lawrence; sisters, Debra Lawrence Merck Greenwald (Stuart Greenwald) and Donna Lawrence Alexander (Grant Alexander); grandchildren, Rockland, Sheila, Aaron, Rutger, Shady, and Milo; and 6 great grandchildren, Justice, Liberty, Celia, Winter, Rockland, and Brayson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 4-8PM with funeral services the following day, Saturday, April 2nd at 10AM all held at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, 46229.
