Daryle Eugene Roth
82, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 21, 2017. He was born in Hot Springs, South Dakota, to Della Pearl (King) Roth and John Roth on November, 28, 1934.
He was raised by his mother and stepfather, Gerner Olsen, at Black Hills Army Depot, Igloo, South Dakota. Daryle served in the Army as a Morse Code Interceptor in Alaska then graduated from the University of South Dakota. His career with various government agencies included NASA in Houston, Texas, during the 1960's space race and had worked for the Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel in Atlanta, Georgia. He retired as Personnel Director at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indianapolis, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Neil Roth and Jack Roth. He is survived by ex-wives Judy (Breen) Roth and Barbara Meek and children Susan (Jay) Geshay, Carol (Chris) Poglitsh, Brenda Roth, David (Michele) Roth, Cathy Roth and six grandchildren, all of Indianapolis, Indiana. A memorial mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 10 a.m. Arrangements by Flanner Buchanan-Broad Ripple.
