Darryl G. Carpenter

Darryl G. Carpenter, 59, of Indianapolis went to his Eternal Home on April 26, 2018.

Darryl was born September 23, 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas to Richard and Joan Carpenter.  He lived in various states including Texas, New York, Minnesota, and settled in Indiana.  He graduated from Clarkson University in New York with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and worked as a Chemical Engineer for Eli Lilly for the past 15 years.

Darryl enjoyed playing guitar, cooking, and building computers.

He is survived by his wife of almost 20 years Vickie Carpenter; children Bethanne Carpenter, Jessica Carpenter, and Matthew Trettel; sisters Tony (Randy) Youngman and Jill Carpenter; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Joan Carpenter.

A Memorial Service will be held 3 PM on Friday, May 4 at Flanner Buchanan – Geist, 7855 Cork Road, Indianapolis.
