Darryl Eugene Fleck

Darryl Eugene Fleck, 70, of Fort Myers, FL passed away Friday August 4th, 2023. He was born April 24th, 1953 in Mishawaka, IN.

Darryl was born and raised in Mishawaka, IN. He resided in Cicero, IN for 38 years before moving to Noblesville, IN for 4 years. He retired from Godby Home Furnishings after 17 years of service and moved to Fort Myers, FL.  He enjoyed travel with his wife Cheryl, taking many trips over the years. He also enjoyed restaurants and cooking, he took pride in various projects he did around the house, landscaping, and working in the yard. Darryl always had a story to tell or an adventure to share.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Melvin and Minnie (Suter) Fleck of Mishawaka, IN; sister Rosalie Prichard of Lynn, IN.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Cheryl (Tudor) Fleck of Arcadia, IN; his children, Kirsten (Fleck) Peterson, Garrett Fleck, son-in-law Jason Peterson, daughter-in-law Naomi Jayasuriya; grandchildren, Olyvia Fleck, Sophia Shepard, and Josephine Peterson; siblings, Phyllis Pratt, Don Fleck, Ray Fleck; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends will gather August 26, 2023 from noon to 3pm for a celebration of life at Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park (Prairie Waters) in Westfield, Indiana.
