Indianapolis, IN – Darrin Michael Curtis Marion, 46, unexpectedly died Sunday November 14th, 2021 at home with his wife and family. He leaves his wife of 20 years, Tiffany (Nichols) Marion; his son Ian Marion; daughter Allison Marion; mother Vickie Davidson-Marion; sister Deiandra Marion; father Michael Marion and wife Margo Marion and sister Mackenzie Marion; sister Tanesha Howard and her husband; in-laws Dennis Sr & Pamela Nichols; brother-in-law Dennis Nichols Jr; and aunts, uncles, cousins and many loved ones.
Born and raised in Indianapolis, IN, Darrin played varsity football and basketball during high school. During college, Darrin took some time off and played football for Team USA in Austria and rugby in Breckenridge, CO. He went on to graduate from Grambling State University where he became a lifelong member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He received his M.B.A from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Darrin met the love of his life, Tiffany (Nichols) Marion and they had their first date on December 31, 1999 and they went on to marry on October 27, 2001 at United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, IN. They have 2 beautiful teenagers who he truly loved and adored. His family meant the world and he loved them with all his heart. Darrin worked to make a difference in the lives of so many people and he will be greatly missed by many. He was an entrepreneur and poured his time into his businesses Darrin’s Coffee Company and Ratel SEO. He received various awards for Best Coffee Shop and was awarded recently by the Georgia Business Journal – Best SEO & Marketing firm, Ratel SEO & Marketing 2021.
Services will be held Saturday November 27th, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan North – Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46228 10am – 1pm, with services to start at 10:30am.
