Darline (Frantz) Lamson

Noblesville, Indiana

Darline (Frantz) Lamson of Noblesville passed away peacefully on August 31, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born January 26, 1940 to Jay and Lila Frantz.

Darline worked for over 20 years at Western Electric.  After her retirement from there, Darline went back to college and earned her Bachelor’s degree at age 48 from the IU School of Business.  She was always active in her church, including Oaklandon Christian Church, where she taught Sunday School, then East 91st Street Christian Church, and then Legacy Bible Church in Fishers. Darline also served as a past President for the Stone Harbour Homeowner’s Association.  She had a giving heart and donated her time at various charity events and to various charitable organizations, including Meals on Wheels, Coats for Kids, and Wheeler Mission.  She supported over 40 different charities through her donations.

Darline is survived by her sons Earl Lamson and Keith (Nancy) Lamson; granddaughter Alyssa Lamson; brother Ronald (Tonya) Frantz; daughter-in-law Linda Lamson.  In addition to being a mother and grandmother, she was also a loved aunt, niece, cousin, and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jay and Lila Frantz of Muncie, IN and Nokomis, FL.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Tuesday, September 6 from 2-4 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Geist, 7855 Cork Road, Indianapolis.  A Memorial Service will begin at 4 PM with Dr. Keith Kunda of Legacy Bible Church presiding.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Meals on Wheels or Wheeler Mission.
