Darla Fry

Darla J. Fry, 64, of Indianapolis, left this world too soon on January 3^rd, 2023. She was born in Indianapolis to parents Charles and Florence Patricia (Collins) Fry.

Darla grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Warren Central High School in 1976.

She began her accounting career at ISI, working alongside her father. She then worked for many years at First Rate Electrical.

Darla was a strong, loving woman. A true Indy native, she was passionate about the Indy 500 and the Colts. She enjoyed her independence, spending time gardening and tending to her many houseplants. Darla always had a huge heart for animals and many pets in her home. As often as she could, Darla loved to travel, especially to visit lighthouses. Above all, Darla adored her family. Her boys were her pride and joy, and she was so proud to be a Mamaw.

Darla is survived by her sons Eric (Holly) Wolski and Gabriel (Christina) Fry; grandchildren Rylie, Chance, Kaesyn, Khloe, Kylie, and Bennett; brother, Mike Fry; and Patsy Fry.

She is preceded by her parents; siblings Scott Fry and Amy Fry; her soul dog Sissy, and numerous other furry friends.

Visitation for Darla will be Friday January 6^th, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East from 5-7pm. Her funeral will begin at 7pm.
