Danny Lee Rist

55, of Brownsburg, Indiana, passed away on April 5, 2021.  Danny was born on January 8, 1966 in Indianapolis, Indiana.  He was a self-employed construction worker and professional painter until he retired.  Danny enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Carpenter; daughter, Shanell Rist and Grandparents, Betty and Richard Jones and Helen and Paul Rist.  He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Rist; children, Derrick and Kelly Rist; stepchildren, Shaina Cole, Terry Trivett, and Tiffanie Morris; mother, Darlene Carpenter; siblings, Mark Rist, Keith (Angie) Denson, Chrisie (Will) Fitzgerald, and John Carpenter; ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 11-1pm at Flanner Buchanan-Decatur Township.  Funeral Service will be Thursday at 1pm at Flanner Buchanan-Decatur Township.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
